About Emotional Brandywine: 

Renowned Artist Karl J. Kuerner created the painting Lafayette's Sword for the book Emotional Brandywine.  Kuerner's paintings illustrate essays on the battle where Lafayette was wounded and began his journey to becoming an American hero.  Kuerner is the only artist personally instructed by famed American artist Andrew Wyeth. 

Bruce E. Mowday is an award-winning author who has written more than 25 books.  His essays on Lafayette accompany Kuerner's paintings in this original book.

About the Lafayette Bust:  The bust is a 6-inch souvenir size reproduction of Houdon's Lafayette from 1785.  It is hand-sculpted from terra cotta and cast in resin with a wooden base.
