I bought myself a pair of the Lafayette gloves to wear at the Bicentennial Celebration of Lafayette's visit to the States here at the Hill House Museum in Portsmouth, VA when we have the Marquis (portrayed by Mark Schneider) to tea on October 26. I loved them so much, I purchased another pair as a gift for a friend in Florida to enjoy the festivities with us vicariously. Now, all my friends have "glove envy" and want to own a pair too. Thank you for providing these lovely accessories to use in a remarkable historical event in Virginia!
These gloves have been sent to La Teste, France to help a dear friend celebrate Lafayette’s return to America.
Just Devine!!!
